The Princess Flug Bug is the second half of the twenty-sixth and final episode of Season 2 of Abby Hatcher.

Princess Flug pretends to be sick in order to get attention from her friends.

Trivia[]

  • This episode was originally supposed to air on August 30, 2020, but it was pulled for a currently unknown reason and it was replaced with a rerun of Teeny Terry's Perfect Sport/Abby's Track and Field Day
  • It was then rescheduled to air on September 20, 2020, but it was pulled again for an unknown reason and was replaced by Teeny Terry: Safety Officer/Abby Babysits Melvin, which that episode was originally supposed to air the week after. It is currently unknown when this episode will actually air. It's possible the episode is left unaired because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it involved Princess Flug pretending to have the flu.
  • However, it did come to Knowledge Kids in Canada and was available on Vimeo from March 31st to April 19th 2021 and has now even aired on US television on April 2, 2022. In reaird 2023

Trivia For The Episode, Regarding Its Airdate:

  • This episode marks the unofficial return to Chef Jeff's once-per episode kitchen accidents that were absent in the show for some time until this episode.
  • It reveals that Grumbles morphs every time he sneezes, which could be a reference to "Shape of Grumbles" where Grumbles morphed every time he hiccuped.
  • The plot is similar to season 1's "Cousin Flugtilda" as both episodes involve Princess Flug feeling left out in an activity or 2.
  • This episode, as well as "Abby's Farm Animal Friend", is the episode that took the longest to getting it's own airdate in the USA.
  • This is the second time Princess Flug shows her drama queen side. The first time is in "Cousin Flugtilda".
  • Irony: Princess Flug could've just explained to Abby about what she wanted instead of pretending to sick.
  • Moral:
    • Be honest to your family about your problems.
    • If you want respect, you have to be respectful to others.
    • Never put others down or make them feel small.
    • Always include everyone in your activities.
